This unique project came into being due to overwhelming desire to honor one of the greatest and yet least known bands ever to grace the face of rock. The privileged ones had experienced something described as a holy guitar war that rages in some hidden desert, an axis that roars from within and awaits to be explored... For the few of us it was a monumental occasion when music came to us in the form of the magnificent
Thin White Rope
. Huge, brooding sound, expertly employing feedback to convey frailty, genuine pain. Not an ounce of fat on their music, it goes straight for the jugular and then leaves you there and makes you think many thoughts. And so, this project is about them, and the bands that they had influenced. It will continue as long as there are musicians willing to contribute. So we ask you to join us, its worth it and we have to try!
